BRIEF GENERAL HISTORY OF THE EASTLANDS
(UNFINISHED)

The forests and mountains of the Eastlands were beset by hard times in 883 GUE. Aragain itself was bombarded by wave upon wave of barbarian invasion, natives from the fringes of Fenshire and the more unsettled regions of the Flathead Fjord poured over the hills and laying waste to the last Quendoran outposts. Only the emergence of Syovar at the head of the last royal armies was able to preserve the Aragain region. He gathered the surviving remnants of the imperial army and plunged them into a never-ending war between the barbarian invaders. The armies under his leadership were the only Quendoran troops in those dark times unsullied by defeat. It is said that without his military prowess, the empire would have come to an even quicker demise.
