The Fool's Memorial was constructed southwest of the subterranean Shanbar sometime during the first half of the seventeenth century GUE "in recognition of 200 foolish moves". Its mysterious nature was able to somehow keep track of foolish actions by various adventurers travelling through the region; this rating was denoted on the memorial itself.
In reality, this monument was an individual known as The Fool who had been turned to stone by Morphius' vultures. Some ancient documents report that The Fool was restored to flesh using a Freedom Spell in 1647 GUE.
