The infamous jungles of Miznia are the spawning grounds of the deadly bloodworm, thus earning Miznia its slogan, "Bloodworm Mecca of the G.U.E." Bloodworms are not the only inhabitants of the Miznia jungle; in ancient times mighty pachyderms used to roam the jungle, but today there are a wide variety of exotic birds, reptiles (giant crocodile), hungi, vicious hellhounds, spiderflowers, a village of mysterious snake people, and other unclassifiable dangers. Natural canopies of ferns, sparkling rivers, slimy tangles of vines and creeps, squishy fungus, and pools of quicksand blend together to compose a lush, hellish environment. Although expeditions are made into these jungles, tourists are urged to stay away from the well-marked bloodworm spawning grounds unless companioned with a train guide (in 873 GUE, trained guides usually started about about Zm8 per day). A noted tourist attraction in this province is the Miznia Jungle Skyway. Built in 882 GUE to replace the Miznia Jungle Train, this free-to-ride skyway flies over the Miznia Jungle with narrated tours.

The outskirts of the Miznia Jungle is where a majority of the humans congregated in primitive huts along its outskirts following the Brogmolithic Epozz. After about 800 BE, when the Anatian Empire had dissolved, the Miznia locals decided to build their capital city right at the heart of the inhospitable jungle. In an unparalleled attempt at using magical powers to gain mastery over nature, they summoned all their magical abilities to hold back the encroaching swamp and the jungles, preserving the city as a kind of monument to their power and called it Dolo Finis, or Sorrow's End, because it was like an oasis in the heart of the most dangerous and miserable country in all the Westlands. Time proved them wrong. The jungle and swamp crept right back in no matter how hard they pressed to keep it out, and eventually they abandoned it. The ruins of Dolo Finis still stand today, attesting to the eventual failure of their vain and ambitious project.

The legendary Crocodile Castles, perhaps linked with the construction of Dolo Finis, still hide within the Miznia Jungle, along with other tremendous idols, including one which was for many years the resting place of Y'Syska's Crocodile's Tear, until it was snatched away by an unknown peasant in 966 GUE.
