THE IDIOT

Dumb luck personified. This unknown man, known simply as the Idiot, stumbled across zorkmids and treasure during the Great Monster Uprising without even realizing they were worth anything. In battle, the Idiot was as likely to fall into a ditch as lop the head off a troll, but he was very good at distracting enemies. He could also carry a substantial amount of goods without complaining too much, somewhat like a donkey, and would find shortcuts where they would least be expected.
