FLEEZLE
The Fleezle is a wind instrument with a single reed and a delicate,
high pitch that fluctuates as air is pushed past its reed to a series
of brass fleezle valves on the curving neck of the horn. A longtime
court favorite of
Lord Dimwit
Flathead's, the Fleezle was once sounded three hundred times in a
single meal at
Flatheadia Castle, where it announced the arrival of the
299 next courses. Some lesser known varieties of the fleezle carry a
peculiar timbre, deeper than the other, sounding something like the low
gurgle of the
grue.
In the
Z'Orchestra, the fleezles are positioned in the front row stage
right. To their left are the
mianos and the
popperkegs are at the hind.
