BRAINS

In 956 GUE, Brains was reputed to have been the brainiest of the Enchanters. When the Circle gathered at Accardi in the same year to think long and hard about the problem with Krill, the esteemed Belboz had an idea so simple that Brains, cut off his beard, left the guild and took up yak farming for not having thought of the idea himself. Rumor has it that he remained there for the remainder of his life.

Since Belboz knew that a powerful Enchanter would easily be detected and destroyed by Krill, the idea was for the Guild of Enchanters to send a novice to vanquish their foe. As planned, Krill, in his arrogance, overlooked the source of his eventual downfall.
