Forum Updated

I finally got around to updating the forum to the latest version. I know its not the old theme it used to be, that may take some time, so bare with me. As for the annoying false accounts, we shall see if that stops with this version.

Wow!  I had to put put on my sunglasses  8-) in order to read the posts today.  It's so bright!
I have a feeling that the change (if it stops the false account posting) will will bring the board back to life again.

Yeah, sorry for the brightness... I don't care much for it. The option I am currently using to stop the false accounts sends a pre-registration email(not really) to the new user before the new account is even created, so now I don't need to go through and delete 10 accounts every day. There are also some script protection etc. so that people cannot use them to make false accounts, I may be able to put the forum back to normal if things are going ok.

Nope, same old TZL :-} just a different plumb job.

I am just glad they had a convertor with this one, for some reason I had issues with it before or didn't try with this version of the board but did with a previous version and conversion just wasn't working. But alas it did now and I am glad.

YAY! Finally! So I have been doing little things here and there to make sure the forum is secure etc. and found that there IS a verfication process I enabled during registration. During registration there is a 6 digit code one must type in based on the jpg displayed, this means no more false accounts through scripts etc. I am sure I will still get occassional false accounts trying to sell viagra etc. but should be minimal incomparison to before. I have also been adding things to the template which was a default on the original, eg. search.

The forum is now back to normal!

Again sorry to those that have made accounts and were being deleted, but your own fault if you don't post anything... :-P
