Vilboz, a great thaumaturge, was the founder of the first and most famous of all Enchanters' Guilds, in the tiny hamlet of Accardi-by-the-Sea.
When the ban on magic decreed by Duncanthrax was loosened towards the end of the seventh century, Vilboz the Great was able to form a legitimate organization to aid the scientific approach to the study of magic. This organization in Accardi, was officially known as the first chapter of the Guild of Enchanters.
A stick FROTZed by Vilboz was on display at the Steppinthrax Monastery museum
in the mid-tenth century.
