VANQUARTASH

Vanquartash lived in Grubbo-by-the-Sea during the Great Monster Uprising, and was the uncle of a famous man known only by his alias "Detective Softly", who loved his sea biscuits with the wriggling bits. He had a multitude of sailing contacts in the Greater Borphee region. "Softly", aware of this, recruited Vanquartash's privateer buddies to keep an eye out for a dinghy which was used by the Frizzlebits and the Brotherhood of Ur'agoth. One of them, who spotted the vessel landing at Peltoid Valley, returned to Vanquartash with the information who passed it on to the Detective.

The only other mention of Vanquartash in history was when he and "Softly's" father attended a party in Gurth where Vanquartash seemed to have deprived his friend of something that he presumed would grow back in time.
