Spirit is the generally classification of any being which is incorporeal. They come in many varities of shapes and personalities, good or evil. Some powerful spirits are known to be appalled at the desecration of dead bodies (even the skeleton) and will cast curses on the defiler's valuables, banishing them to the Land of the Living Dead.
