BARDALF

The drink-besotted Bardalf had an alcohol-ravaged nose which gave him his particular sobriquet: Knight of the Burning Lamp. He had no actual magical powers of his own. In his latter years, Bardalf was a very old man, tall and straight, with bushy eyebrows and piercing eyes. He carried a stout hardwood staff and was dressed in a garment of shining cloth of magical workmanship, a long gray cloak, a tall pointed blue hat, a silver scarf covered by his long, gray beard, and on his feet a pair of admirable black boots.

Ed the Embedded Character was made in his image, and Morgrom the Essence of Evil magically donned his countinence at least once during the mid-tenth century.
