A most unusual chair discovered in the Gray Mountains Asylum has come to be known as A Thousand Fingers. This therapeutic device, perhaps invented by Dr. Erasmus Sartorius himself, was used for the Ecstasy Treatment. Sitting in it created a most pleasurable sensation, as though hundreds (perhaps thousands) of fingers were devoted to the subject's corporeal stimulation as Mega-XXXRays were sent into the patient. A strange accompanying visual effect caused the subject's eyesight to become geometrically out of focus, the colors to be shifted out of balance, and "cracks" made in the environment. This effect lasted on an average of thirty seconds to a minute before dispersing.
