This isn't new, but it's new to me and I haven't seen it mentioned here. There's a Twitter bot that will play Zork with you. There's info at http://workbench.glulogic.com/2009/05/3 ... zork-game/ and the game is @zorkgame. You just tweet mention it with your commands, "@zorkgame open mailbox" for example. It's a really interesting way of playing even if it is broken because twitter doesn't allow duplicate tweets in a short period of time (think about navigating with compass directions).

Has anybody seen any other interesting new implementations of Zork?

Heh interesting, I don't use twitter so I can't check it out. Im sure someone else will chime in with other implementations of Zork.
