I've been looking into it, but unless we win the lottery (no change though) I can't afford 3ds Max. But - there appears to be a program very much like Max, but for free. I'll tell 'ya when I've got some more news!..

Blender? That's free...seems like a headache to use, but is capable of good stuff and is free...but again..the interface...

Yes that's it!.. Don't know about the interface, havn't tried it. I would stay with Max anyway; they've created some good adventuregames (at least good grapfics) like Myst and Syberia with it...

I thought Myst was made with Infini-D. Maybe Riven/Exile with 3dsmax, but I could have sworn Myst was Infini-D.

Hmm... maybe both? I can remember reading the makingoff on the offiical site about 3ds Max. Oh... just bugger that anyway :-P
