A couple of days ago, I was watching the new King Kong movie for the third time.  I had seen it once by myself, once with my daughter, and one more time with my brother-in-law (who was visiting from California.)

Early on in the film he turn to me and says, "Zork!"  Isay, "What?"  He says, "That music.  It's from Zork."

I listen....I'll be darned!  Whay didn't I notice that before?  It's almost identical to the Return to Zork theme.  I didn't realize it until he mentioned it, then it is unmistakable (I think)  Any of you guys seen/heard it?

My daughter, who has a much better ear than I do, helped me write out the notes for the Zork theme.  They go,
A  F# Bb  A   G#       G        F#  repeat
q   q    q   q   w         w        w
q= quarter note
w= whole note

I watched the movie and forgot to listen for the theme, but the movie was so boring and way to long, they could have easily cut out an hour from the film with no adverse affects to any portion there of.

ishashobar,

Those *are* the RTZ notes.  I don't have the King Kong notes.
