Please keep in mind that if you answer 225, you must specify what you did in the game to recover those (2) extra points.  As of the book named "RTZ: Adventurer's Guide [Unofficial, Unauthorized...]" by Steve Schwartz, it clearly states that no matter how many times the author tried to get 225 points, he was not able to get 225 points.  The book states "A technical support specialist at Activision confessed that he had played the game hundreds of times and had still not found all of the points".  The ISBN for that book is 1-55958-534-X ©1994

I happen to have discovered how to get the extra 2 points to reach the full 225 points at the end of the game.  I will post that for you guys later since I do believe very few people know it, if any at all, (I searched for it all over google only 18 hits came up... however, none of the sites I visited show the procedure to get *those* 2 points).

All right, I'll be fair, since in 1994 when I got this book I was obsessed with that fact, sometimes I'd go to bed thinking, "geez, it must be something so complicated" but its actually very simple, and most people just go on and on playing the game and they wont experiment.

Some walkthroughs on the net say that they can get you the full 225 points however, I happened to see one just hours ago that clearly doesn't.  There are many assumptions, but after you're done (using those websites as a guide) you end up with less than 225.  So they've probably just assumed those points were right or they simply lied.
Its not fair it will take you a whole game to find out its really not.

Not to degrade the walkthroughs thou, I happen to admire them a lot, they do help you get unstuck.

I accidentally found this out while replaying the game recently (a year ago perhaps).  Here is the answer:

When you win the game in both the DOS and Macintosh version, if you did all the tasks right, you'll have 223/225 points.  Two points are missing.  When you ask Boos for the keys and he hands them to you, the game will give you [2] points.  Immediately give him the keys back, HE WILL TAKE THEM BACK!...  No problem, ask him for the keys again, you get [2] "extra" points... there goes the missing [2] points from the end of the game.  This works in both DOS and MAC.  No, this is not a glitch, just a way to test the IQ of some gamers

Now, an interesting thing to do is offer the keys to him once again [LOL]....

Anyway, you CAN do this at ANY point of the game in the DOS CD version (NOTE: in the Mac you must do it before you finish the toast or else you are TOAST!)

That means that if you have a game saved anywhere before you reach Morpheus, you CAN go back to Boos and give him the keys, he'll be delighted that you return his keys, you must perform the toast again to get the keys back thou.  The two points will be added to your score.  8)
