Re: What is Brog?
Ah, I remember Titanic. Very cool. I remember I ended up not finding a picture (or something) fast enough which meant the ending wouldn't come out right, so I got kind of discouraged and stopped playing. Need to pull that one back up.

Re: The Hidden Evil?
I think we considered that engine for a while (it's certainly been brought up around here a lot) but never ended up making anything out of it. I think the main problem is no one wants to put any money (or effort really) into a project that may not even be completed. Tis a shame because it's a rather...

Re: 2006 Consoles - PS3, XBox 360, Revolution
I'd have to agree. Simply upgrading the hardware for greater graphics capabilities is ridiculous at this point, it's getting to the point where graphics are as good as they get. Add to that the way computers and video game consoles seem to be merging together (consoles becoming more like PCs, high e...

Re: Grand Inquisitor backstory transcription
Good job. I was actually planning on doing this a long time ago, I started on the history, but I never got around to finishing it.

Re: H2G2
I've seen it twice already, it is quite excellent. I liked how they have little things that die-hard fans can recognize (BBC Marvin in the queue; Simon Jones, the original Arthur Dent as the Magrathean recording; and one that really got to me: Journey of the Sorceror, the theme song in pretty much e...

Re: ZGI artwork
I believe I have the guide you are speaking of, got it at Electronics Boutique ages ago (before I actually bought ZGI) for roughly 89 cents. Quite a steal. I'll look for this "original/unused artwork," but I don't think there's that much of it. I can scan some of it tomorrow and see if it'...

Re: H2G2
I recently picked up the DVD edition of the original H2G2 miniseries from the BBC. It follows the radio series almost exactly and has very few differences from the books (1 and 2). Of course there is additional humor that only works with a visual medium and it is done very well. I can only hope that...

Re: H2G2
Well, in just 2 weeks the movie will be released. Douglas wanted to see it on the big screen since it was first written. Let's hope it would make him proud.

Re: Happy New Year! 2005
Well, so far, 2005 hasn't been too great for me. If this is any indication, 2004 will be greater than 2005.

Re: I just finished HL2 on hard!
I'm still progressing very slowly in this game. I just bought a DS last week and now I have even less time to play. I can't say I've been bored recently.

Re: I just finished HL2 on hard!
Well I'm making room in my schedule to play this game more, it is very awesome. Although this weekend I probably won't get to play it, I do hope to have ample amounts of free time after the holidays.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 3
MGS3 takes place in 1964, while MGS takes place in a modern day setting (around the year 2000). Big Boss (who dies in the second Metal Gear game) would be close to seventy years old by then. But he looks, sounds, and almost acts exactly the same as the main character in the other Solid games. In the...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 3
Er, what? Making clones of Big Boss doesn't make sense? Who do you think Solid Snake is? Liquid? They ARE clones of Big Boss. And in the original Metal Gear (not Metal Gear Solid) Big Boss turns out to be the enemy. He's killed in the second one by Solid Snake. But yeah, Solid Snake is Big Boss's cl...
